Identify one theory commonly applied in the fields of instructional technology and/or distance education, or curriculum and teaching.

Roger’s theory is one of the most widely applicable theory for those in IDT conducting dissertation research . Review the videos that explain Rogers’ theory.

What does the theory attempt to explain? Select, from the literature, and summarize, one study that has employed the theory. (3 pages double spaced, or less)

Review the information posted in Canvas and carefully examine the many chapters of your textbooks to identify information about theories in the field of instructional technology or Curriculum and Teaching. Actually, the same theories support both fields. Use of the Handbook texts is critical to the successful completion of this assignment.

The graphic should be directly related to what you are writing about, it can be small, need not have a caption if it is obvious what the relationship is to your writing. The best visuals are visually literate, meaning they convey meaning visually without the need for words—think logos for some businesses or organizations – the recycling logo, the library logo for example.
