The first country I would expand our product into would the UK. I would start with the UK because the culture and linguistic differences are minimal. Historically products that start off in the US make an easy transition into the UK because we are very similar. With that being said we would have to do some target market research and may still have to make some changes before launching. While we share the same language there are different dialects that might make us change the wording of our messaging.

The country I believe Chocolate Bliss should expand in is Germany. The culture of Germany has always been cooking home cooked, rich in flavor foods. An example would be German Chocolate Cake. A very chocolatey, rich, and flavorful cake. Just thinking about it makes anyone crave it with a tall glass of ice cold milk. Another thing to consider to expansion is the competition in that country. Since it is in another country, research is key to its success. What is the product that the local germans are using and how does that compare to the Chocolate Bliss brand. How is it appealing to the locals and see how the Chocolate Bliss would be better and benefit the German bakers better. Would have to see how the local brand is marketed and sold in the local communities. Then the Chocolate Bliss company would have to adjust its marketing to make its brand more appealing to the Germans.
